This is Me.

May 6, 2011, I walked across the stage to receive my college diploma. Four years of hard work had culminated to this moment and I was of course thrilled to be graduating. I was also a bundle of nerves because in a matter of minutes the spotlight was going to be solely on me. I try to always avoid the spotlight by the way…not my favorite place at all. 😳

Not only was I graduating but I was also about to be commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. During my college years, I stayed very busy taking my usual classes, working a part time job, and training to be an Air Force Officer. The day was finally here and I was sweating bullets. Soon I would be standing in front of my graduating class and all their guests, raising my right hand and reciting the Commissioned Officer Oath. My officiating officer required that I state the entire oath start to finish without his prompting, so I was praying I didn’t forget anything! (I didn't in case you were wondering.)

That day launched an exciting chapter in my life. I was off to see the world! Well kind of…3 hours from home to beautiful Eglin AFB! I was thrilled to move to Florida. It was familiar territory for me since it was my annual childhood vacation spot, so it was comforting considering this was my first time away from home. Yes I stayed home to go to college and loved every minute of it.

My husband, whom I married only a couple months prior to graduating also commissioned that May from Montana State University. We started out in a long term relationship that would later prove to be good training for what the military had in store for us. However after graduation, we were able to finally move to the same location, the Emerald Coast. We had a few great, sunny years before it was time to move again but I always hoped we'd come back. **Spoiler alert** we did 😊

Around the world (literally) and back again, after several assignments the military saw fit to approve our request to return back to the beautiful Florida coast. Only this time, I would return sporting my shiny REALTOR name tag instead of one in desert tan. I chose to hang up my uniform and start a new real estate career after 8 years in the military, not because transitioning to a new job is an easy thing to do but because it was the best move for my family. In 2019, we had our first child and with my husband still being Active Duty, we had little to no family stability. So I earned my Real Estate license and put in my military separation paperwork.

Since then, I've had the privilege to work with so many wonderful clients. With my background, I attract a lot of miliary buyers and sellers which I thoroughly enjoy, but I also love working with first time buyers and sellers. It really allows me the opportunity to share the knowledge I've gained over the years and help get the absolute best results for my clients. Since moving to Florida, I have expanded my clientele to investors as well. I have an eye for spotting a good deal and avoiding money pits! Overall I just enjoy working with good, honest people!

I strive to make every transaction personal for my clients. No one should ever feel like "just another sale" because buying or selling a home, especially a family home, is a personal thing. Home is where we make our memories, raise our families, part with loved ones, and grow old, so every transaction is special. I do my best to ensure the most enjoyable experience for my clients by going above and beyond, tending to every detail and removing the stress from the process as much as possible. I continue to push to find the right property for every client because good things don't always happen immediately. Persistence and patients are key!
